My family and I just had the best staycation at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. The main reason we picked this location is because of its proximity to LEGOLAND California. The resort is literally next door to the theme park and even has a private entrance and parking lot!
It was our first time staying at the resort and we loved the space of the two bedroom Ponto Suite! It’s the perfect size for families and the kids loves having their own room! The suite has a king bed on one side with a bathroom and living space in the middle and a room with two twin beds on the opposite side! There are three televisions and lots of space!!
I also love the pool at the resort. I really wanted to try out the waterslide but it was closed on weekdays, so we will have to do that next time. The pool is big and beautiful and even has an beach entry area that is perfect for small children to play where it’s very shallow!
And we love the resort’s restaurant called 7 Mile! This was our second time eating there and it was delicious! We started with some salads and some smoked buffalo wings before our meal.
My husband and I both tried the Wine Braised Short Ribs that comes with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. And the kids both wanted the burger!
And they have the best gelato and Brûlée cheesecake for dessert! And if you time it just right, the tables have the best views of the sunset!!!
