Now We’re All Cooking with Ratatouille

Ratatouille is my son’s all-time favorite Disney and Pixar movie. We probably have watched it over 100 times! And I have to admit, I love it, too. And every time I watch it makes me super hungry and inspires me to cook! I love the film’s French-inspired cuisine and have always wished the recipes would come to life for me at home.

 

 

Well now I am in luck because Dole Food Company just launched the “Now We’re (All) Cooking” Initiative inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Ratatouille that includes 20 new recipes inspired by the movie that you can make from the comfort of your own home! And if you head to the Dole website, you can also download different activities for your children to create and color like Dole and Ratatouille placemats, their own Dole Chef hat, and more!

 

 

As a therapist, I strongly believe that cooking is therapeutic and I love cooking with my children. They are my “Little Chef’s” and cooking together really enhances our parent child attachment. Plus we have the best conversations in the kitchen and around the dinner table. Some of the recipes are very kid friendly and quick and easy to make. Many of them only require a few ingredients that are fun for the kids to help make with you! And all of the recipes have an approved Disney check, so you know they have nutritional value and a lot of fruits and vegetables.

 

In this blog, I will be sharing all 20 new recipes! And, stay tuned because next week I will be attending a Dole virtual cooking class where I will make two of these recipes, the Little-Chef Potato-Leek Soup and Oui Oui Wafer Banana Macarons, from the comfort of my own home!
