My family and I kicked off this past weekend at the new Splitsville in the Downtown Disney® District of Anaheim for some dinner and bowling!
This luxury two-story venue is huge!! It houses 20 bowling lanes and 600 dining tables! They even have outdoor seating with a covered patio and a stage that features live music 365 days a year! And if you sit upstairs, the venue is surrounded by windows so you have beautiful views of Downtown Disney!
The bowling lanes are weaved into different areas of the venue so they are very intimate rather than having the restaurant in one area and the entire bowling area in another area. I also love that they have a line for people that want to dine only or a line for people that want to bowl and dine!
When we arrived we were able to put up bumpers and have a special bowling ramp for my children so they could successfully bowl and have a good time without getting any gutter balls. I even was able to get a strike on my first turn!
Halfway through our game, we started eating our dinner. It was so fun to be able to go back-and-forth at our convenience since our bowling lane was right next to our table. The menu offers pizza, sushi, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other entrees like fish and chips, chicken alfredo, and steak.
My husband and I started with the Grilled Avocado and Ahi Tuna appetizer. The avocado is grilled and then stuffed to the brim with seared ahi tuna, which is tossed in a spicy kimchee ponzu sauce. And let me tell you it’s my favorite item on their menu!
My husband ordered a Foghorn burger but he dug into it so quickly I couldn’t snap a picture before he devoured it. Apparently he thought it was delicious! I can’t say I blamed him. The burger is smothered in pepper jack cheese and topped with a fried egg, fried jalapeños, Sriracha and cilantro-lime sauce. I ordered the Smokehouse chicken sandwich. It was packed with so many flavors with such a unique taste it is definitely something I keep thinking about and want to go back again and eat the next time I visit. The chicken is barbecue seared and smothered with melted pepper jack, bacon, crispy onions, house make pickles, slaw, and more!
My kids shared a child pizza and a child hotdog. The kids menu also offers a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, pasta, and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Even though we didn’t spend any time there, there is a giant craft cocktail bar with a row of televisions in one section of the venue. It was packed at the time because the World Series was on! Everyone we walked past was having such a good time!!
If you will be heading anywhere near Disneyland in the near future I highly recommend making a reservation and spending time at Splitsville! It is great for families, date nights, and a nice little retreat from time at the park if you need a quick lunch or dinner. Feel free to dine or spend a little extra time for a game of bowling!!

Our visit to Splitsville was hosted but all opinions are my own.
