While in Arizona, my family and I visited the Butterfly Wonderland at the Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale! I was amazed by the beauty inside and all of the butterflies and loved that it was so much more than a butterfly exhibit! They even have an entire reptile area and some marine/sea life!
When you first enter and go past the lobby, there is an educational area where you learn about what kind of butterflies you will see as well as seeing them as caterpillars and in their chrysalis. We even saw one emerging into a butterfly! It was incredible!
Then you walk into the actual butterfly area where you will see butterflies everywhere you look! There are so many different species and butterflies in all shapes, sizes, and colors! But be careful, make sure you walk slow and look around so you don’t step on one! And if you are lucky, one might land on your shoulder!
Once we left that area, you walk through the cafe area to get to the reptile exhibit!
Once inside the reptile exhibit, you will see all sorts of reptiles like snakes, frogs, lizards, turtles, and more!
The last exhibit is the marine/sea life area where you will see some sting rays!
And before you leave, you will walk through the gift shop where you can pick up all sorts of unique souvenirs!
The Butterfly Wonderland is open daily from 9-5 and if you are local, you can even buy an annual pass! An annual pass pays for itself after just two visits! Buy your tickets and learn more about planning your visit here!
We were hosted by Butterfly Wonderland but all opinions and photos are my own.
