The Sheraton Park Anaheim was our hotel fabulous partner this year for the Magical Media Retreat and we couldn’t have had a more magical stay. We are so thankful they partnered with us and I can’t wait to share everything about the property with you!
The Room
The remodeled room was spacious, clean, and modern. I was on a top floor so the views were beautiful, too! Whenever I stay near Disneyland I always ask to upgrade to a park view room so I can see the fireworks. Trust me, it’s worth it if you have little ones that can’t stay up late to see them in person or if you don’t have tickets for that particular day at the parks.
The Property
The property is only a few blocks from the Disneyland Resort and it’s just a short walk that takes about 10 minutes or so, door to door. The lobby area is quite large and was very clean and welcoming. I loved all of the walkways and palm trees as well as how beautiful it looked at night!
The first floor housed a restaurant, a bar area, and a large gift shop that also has Starbucks coffee as well as hot and cold breakfast items for purchase. This came in very handy for me when I needed a coffee and breakfast the morning of the retreat during the early hours of the morning while we were setting up.
The Pool
Although I didn’t personally visit the pool during this trip, I would love to come back with my kids to enjoy this part of the property. The pool area was fairly large with plenty of chairs and surrounded by beautiful landscape. There was also a giant chess set play area, too!
The Retreat
We spent most of our time at the hotel in the conference room and in the courtyard during the retreat. We were in Garden Room A and it was perfect for our retreat. I will be sharing more about the food and beverage we had at the hotel in my follow up blog post about the retreat, so stay tuned!
