As you may have seen, I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu in Anaheim for the weekend during the Magical Media Retreat I co-hosted with two of my blogger friends a couple of weeks ago. The Radisson Blu Anaheim is a AAA Four Diamond hotel and is a hop, skip, and a jump from The Disneyland® Resort. In fact, its only 4 blocks away! And the hotel is part of a shuttle service called ART bus that can take you to and from the Disney parks for only $6 for an all day pass! All you have to do is scan a QR code upon check in to get started to make a reservation! We took this transportation to Downtown Disney for dinner one evening and it was very clean, safe, and convenient! The Radisson Blu Anaheim is a perfect hotel location for families visiting the parks and for business travelers attending nearby events and conventions in the area. It is also close to Angel Stadium and the Honda Center, both just two miles from the hotel.
The Property
The hotel features two outdoor heated pools and hot tubs. The main level pool, cabanas, and splash pad are for families while the rooftop pool is for adults only. The hotel also has a fitness center and conference space, multiple dining options, and lots of areas to watch the Disneyland fireworks during your stay including the rooftop restaurant and bar!
The Rooms
The hotel has 326 rooms and suites and I was fortunate enough to stay in a King Suite for the weekend. And I loved it!! I loved having a luxury suite to myself and really loved how spacious, clean, and modern it was! I had a separate living area and also a corner room with lots of windows that had beautiful views of Disney Parks, where I was able to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and watch the fireworks at night! The hotel was even kind enough to make welcoming signs for all of us and a special, surprise treat!
I cannot wait to bring my entire family back because the hotel has more than 150 rooms with bunk beds that I know my kids will love. These rooms comfortably allow for up to six people. They also offer 40 pairs of connecting rooms with amenities like free Wi-Fi to ensure that everyone can share the fun, even family members!
The Pools
As I mentioned, the lobby floor has a family friendly pool with cabanas and a splash pad! And then they have a private rooftop adult only pool! There is also a pool bar called The Oasis Pool Bar and lots of fun, modern outdoor patio seating.
The Restaurants
There are multiple dining locations on the hotel property including the FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, The Blu Marketplace, the bluSky Restaurant & Bar, and the Main Street Mercantile. And you can always order room service!
The Rooftop
I think what makes this hotel extremely unique is the rooftop area. There are plenty of couches and chairs to sit on and watch the sunset or fireworks at Disneyland. It’s also a good place to have a cocktail or relax after a long day! It’s absolutely beautiful! The rooftop is where we hosted our welcoming social hour to kick off the retreat and it was the perfect spot to mingle!
Conference Room
We also utilized the Radisson Blu’s conference space area for the actual retreat. It was clean and spacious and a perfect spot for the day. We even had brunch catered by the hotel midway through the conference and also had pastries, coffee, juice, and water!
Health and Safety Measures
The hotel also has many health and safety precautions in place. Masks are required indoors and on elevators. We felt very safe while staying there for the weekend and all of the guests and staff were very respectful of the rules in place.
I was hosted by the Radisson Blu Anaheim, but all photos and opinions are my own. Professional photos taken by the amazing Captivating by Amanda.
