There’s a new hotel in town and we were excited to check it out!! The new Hotel Lulu in Anaheim just opened in May and is just minutes from Disneyland.
Even though we live in Southern California, there is nothing like a good staycation! And when you are planning to get to the parks for rope drop or stay until the fireworks, you want a hotel that is nearby and even walking distance to the parks, especially if you have small children. Plus having a nearby hotel allows you the option to head back to the hotel midday to take a rest so no one gets overtired after a long day of walking!
The Hotel Lulu is decorated on the inside with beach decor and even has a big colorful mural in the lobby, which marks for a fun picture spot upon arrival!
In the lobby area there is also a coffee shop and a small convenience store with some snack essentials. We got coffee and breakfast each morning we were there before walking to the parks. They had a variety of cereal, pastries, and even quiche (which was delicious and I highly recommend!) We even got the kids a hot chocolate one morning, which made their day!
We stayed in a standard double queen room that was on a high floor facing the parks so we could see the fireworks in the evening! It came with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and television!
The first day we arrived, we spent our afternoon by the pool. My favorite were the turquoise chairs and fire pits, and they also have corn hole and ping pong!
There is also a small restaurant/bar in the pool area that offer some small eats like a Caesar salad, pizza, and chicken fingers with tater tots.
And for those who want to exercise while they are there, the Hotel Lulu has a fitness center as well!
One of the best parts was watching the Disneyland fireworks from the room! And because it was our daughter’s birthday weekend, the hotel surprised her with balloons in the room!
The Hotel Lulu is not only convenient to Disneyland, it’s also affordably priced, and has a very kind, and helpful staff.
We were hosted by the Hotel Lulu in exchange for a blog post and social media coverage but photos and opinions are my own!
