What family fun are you planning this Halloween? As a mom with little ones, I find it difficult to find festive activities that aren’t too scary and gory. I want my children to know that Halloween can be fun, silly, and playful, too. We recently experienced LEGOLAND’s Annual Brick-Or-Treat Party Nights Halloween Celebration for the first time and it was so fun for the whole family! Even our littlest one had a good time – and at this age he is frightened of almost everything related to Halloween!
Presented by Disguise Costumes, Brick-or-Treat takes place every Saturday night starting on September 29th and running during the month of October starting at 5:00pm. You can enjoy the park after dark until 9:00pm and visit 16 different treat stations, watch LIVE entertainment shows, meet n greet your favorite characters, and even go on haunted rides around the park! There are even stations where you can collect a LEGO® commemorative brick and a LEGO® Life Magazine containing a special gift! One of the treat stations is in the Aquarium, so you can have even more fun experiencing more than just the park!
There are so many Halloween inspired decorations around the park and multiple picture stations set up for a quick and festive photo!
They even have a giant pumpkin right near the entrance where you can take a professional family photo! We also loved stopping for photos with all of the people dressed up on stilts. They even had a fun interactive Brickzini that spoke to you and told you your fortune.
Once you get inside the park, you will need to visit a wristband station. Parts of the park are roped off and you will need to show your wristband to get to the next part of the park, so make sure to keep it on! You an bring your own candy bucket or they will provide you with a plastic bag.
My favorite part of the night was the LIVE show we watched with signing and dancing to all of our favorite songs.
Afterwards we were able to meet and take a photo with the LEGO Vampire, LEGO Scarecrow, and LEGO Mummy!
And may I add that they were also amazing dancers in the show! In addition to the shows, there is also special music performances around the park.
And most of the restaurants and gift shops have spooktacular treats for the whole family to enjoy! And can you believe they even have a craft station?
And new this year, children can participate in an interactive show with Frankenbrick’s Lab for a chance to act as scientists on stage and create their own slime! Returning this year are a few LEGOLAND favorites including how the Model Shop roof turns into the home of AstroBash, a space-themed dance party that we could hear from the other side of the park! Midnight Monster Jam is also back at the Fun Town Stage where guests can boogie down with the monster crew as they bring their spooky fun character concert to life! Deep in the castle at Courtyard Theatre, The Witchettes, five kid witches, return to celebrate the season of Halloween. The popular Brick-or-Treat celebration also brings back the Ghost Cruise adventure, a new pop-badge challenge in Fun Town, a fall festival complete with a LEGO® pumpkin patch building activity, the BOOgrass Band, and a special LEGO® Friends meet and greet in Heartlake City.
There are only a few weeks left to enjoy all the fun. So get out your costumes early and make sure your weekend plans include a trip to LEGOLAND!!!
