I am an official ambassador for Dole. Dole provided me with compensation for my time and products and recipes for my review. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
A few weeks ago I was invited to attend the Dole Fall Blogger Summit in the Wellness Kitchen at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California. It was such a privilege to be able to work with Dole as my personal philosophy aligns very well with their professional philosophy when it comes to their healthy eating and living initiatives. And when I heard that Dole had collaborated with Disney with 20 new Disney’s Frozen 2–inspired recipes I couldn’t wait to experience the magic!
When we first arrived at the event, we were treated to some nutritious and delicious treats including the Sven Sleigh-Pulling Power Smoothie and the Make Ahead Frozen Brrr-Eakfast Sandwiches and of course, some fresh DOLE® fruit!
Then we were educated about the mission of both Dole and Disney to create healthier generations – so I couldn’t support their alliance more! Disney has a specific goal to “partner with parents and inspire kids to eat better, be more active, and be their best.” Dole shared research suggesting that Americans should consume 8-10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day – and is working to make it easier for us to do so with these incredible new recipes.
After a very informative presentation, I was one of the first to not only try some of Dole’s Disney’s Frozen 2-inspired recipes, I was also able to put my apron on and make a Dole Snow-Flower Pizza, too! I have been wanting to incorporate more vegetables into my family’s diet and this pizza was completely gluten-free and extremely delicious! It is made with a cauliflower crust and packed with tons of vegetables like spinach, arugula, onion, potato, and mushrooms!
Some of the other recipes we were able to try were the Gluten-Free Veggie Pasta Bake and the Olaf Carrot Smoothie Bowl and the Frozen Banana Split Cups and the Arendelle Coronation Seafood Stew and the Enchanted Forest Sweet Potato Cardamom Pie!
Dole is also offering collectable DOLE® Banana stickers featuring Disney’s Frozen 2! There are a total of 20 stickers and you can download a copy of the collectable play board here!
And now, the moment you have been waiting for, all 20 recipes that we learned about at the event! Click on each title below for the complete recipe, how long it takes to make, how many ingredients you need to make it, the level of difficulty, the number of calories per serving, cooking directions, and more!
And in case you were wondering, all the non-treat recipes listed received the Disney Check! What is the Disney Check, you ask? The Disney Check makes it easier for kids and families to identify nutritious choices in stores, online, at live-event venues, and while on vacation at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Foods and recipes that feature the Disney Check meet The Walt Disney Company’s Nutrition Guidelines.
